Dalian City
Faye and I had the great pleasure of spending three months in Dalian City in early 2012. I was on assignment to set up a management team to oversee the work of a large Chinese steel fabrication company for production of some special equipment for our client. While both Faye and I have been to China many times (we met for the first time in Hong Kong - another story), these visits have always been to Hong Kong and Guangzhou in the south of the country. This first visit to the north was a real surprise. We were expecting rural China to be rustic and old. Boy, did we get a surprise. Take a look and see what we really found.
